i see something green

after having breakfast in the office pantry yesterday, i waited in line to wash my lovely purple fork. nways, was standing next to the fridge and when someone opened it, i saw one of my baunans inside.. i tried to remember if i have any leftovers, and i couldnt think of any. curious, i looked under it and thought it was kiwi fruit... which was weird because i can finish one kiwi fruit in 3 seconds.. so malabong magtira ako ng kiwi... so when i opened it, guess what i saw!!!!!!!

yep.. moldy sausages! ewfulness!!!!!!!! harharhar!!!!!! mga 3 months na ito!!!!



i asked the one cleaning our fridge why she didnt tell me or throw it away na.. she just smiled and nahiya daw sha..



gen saw it too but always forgets to tell me. she assumed it was kiwi fruit too.. kasi nga green! then she said: parang naabutan ko pa yan na sausage!! eheheh

Shoe story..

like most girls, I LOVE SHOES... take a look at some of my shoe stories:

1. when rainy season (which i totaly hate, btw) came, got myself a pair of prima crocs.. i initially wanted the gold or silver but there were no sizes for me. so when i came across the lavander ones in my size.. i got them right away!

2. saw these a few months ago on sale for like PhP 900++.. hellur? wala naman akong baby ano.. (wish ko lang) wanted to get all three pairs.. but for what? gagawin ko lang key chain tapos ganun ka-mahal? no thanks.. but i have to admit.. they are soooooooooooooooooooo cute! (to my future bebe: you will definitely get one of these...)

3. this i wanted to get too.. for me this time.. since they were on sale.. sad thing is, i did not have any cash back then.. when i came back to check if it was really meant for me, they were GONE! sniff-sniff.. i'll see you again.. why are goofy stuff so expensive?

4. one of my peborit nike's broke down.. was in the office saturday morning and my shoe felt weird.. when i lifted my foot, ayun..hehe.. buti nalang my officemate placed some rugby in between. (thanks eugene!) ... i still use them btw..

I forgot...

last Monday, i finally decided to have my haircut since my hair was up to my waist already.. (feeling hair talent ba) magastos sa shampoo and conditioner..was supposed to have it trimmed last sat but since i didnt have an appointment, the next available stylist was at 7pm pa.. plus i had my 9 year old niece with me who would probably get bored waiting for me. when i called the salon for an appointment last monday, all 4 stylists i asked for were either on training, left already, and cant stay till 730pm... since that was the only time ok for me, i went on and tried a new stylist. i had a really stressful day so when i got a free massage from the shampoo dude.. sobrang na relax ako..

was really happy with my new haircut! my new stylist was really nice too.. while my hair was being blow dried i was thinking of eating rice right after since i was so hungry.... so when i was done, went to the cashier to pay... guess what? NALIMUTAN KO LANG NAMAN ANG WALLET KO.. my gulay! i realized that i kept it locked inside my drawer.. and ang dala ko lang ay ang coin purse ko! waaaa!!! with wide eyes and super shocked face, i told the cashier i dont have money! ehehe.. i called my officemate to look for my spare key and bring my wallet to me.. (sobrang pakapalan na talga ito) but then my other friend went home na and brought my spare with her! panick level 10 itich..

buti nlang an officem8 of mine was on her way to landmark already so she volunteered to bring the money i borrowed.. kundi nakakahiya talga dun sa nasa office pa na nagtatrabaho pa ng 830 ng gabi! the humiliation of waiting in the parlor with the whole staff ready to go home (as in nagwalis na silang lahat, patay na yung ilaw, etc.) was so bearable. ang masakit nun talga is i WAS SO HUNGRY while waiting for my friend to come! as in sa sobrang hilo ko sa gutom, i threw up when i got home after eating regular fries!

this is the first time i lost my wallet. dont let it happen esp. when going to a parlor.. haay..

blooper girl

a few weeks ago, my colleagues and i went to clark and subic for another ocular inspection. the places and hotels were ok but not as nice as the ones we saw down south.

anyway, during lunch at Gerry's Grill Subic, it rained really hard. so when we walked to the car, there were puddles everywhere! nung nakatayo ako sa labas, waiting for my turn to get in the car, parang may naramdaman akong malamig sa smallest toe ko.. hmm... anu kaya yun??

pagtingin ko, butas lang naman ang sapatos ko! as in natanggal yung pinaka -wat do you call this-- um, cover?! ewan! tapos nahalata na ng mga waiters: "ma'am, naghahanap na ng kapalit yan ha!"

dessagirl: manahimik ka!pupunta ako ng duty free at bibili ako ng tsinelas!

aba, pagdating ko sa pure gold, yung mga tsinelas sa manila na 100 ay 150 dun! grabe! so bumili ako for the sake na may mabili kahit 150!!! grrr!!!!

so warning.. if you have real old shoes that you have not used for over a year, please dispose them and avoid wearing them when it rains. napagalitan tuloy ako ng boss ko.. hehe.. "bakit ka ba kasi nagsusuot ng lumang sapatos? "

Market!Market!

2 Saturdays ago, my friend, tin, and i went to Market!Market! for the first time. . The place is huge! and due to limited time, we only visited one wing. i really liked it and plan to go back because of the good bargains, cool stuff you can find, and the food i guess. Sherwin (tin's boyfriend) took pictures of tin and i while we went around. i got 2 cool goofy magnets from this shop that sold all kinds of magnets! super nice addition to my collection.

then we saw this funky shop near the entrance with jollibee and they had funny earrings! would you believe these tile-like thingies were actually selling for around 270? duh!

we also came across this store where we got to try on their wigs! hehe.. check out tin with short brown hair and me in short blue hair or thick black curly hair! harharhar!!

odiba? pang-telenobela ang dating ng curly hair! hahaha! we had fun trying on those wigs! diba ok if you go to a place and nobody knows what you really look like then wear a wig?

they say this place isn't that nice.. but i enjoyed going there. as soon as i have the budget, i'd go back. i looooooooooooveeee bargain hunting! matiyaga ako dun! hehe...

HHHHEEEEELLLLP!

oh my gulay! help please! last night, my cousin told me that i would be home alone tomorrow until after lunch. ok lang... e anu ngayon? last week pako naka leave ni hindi pa ako nakakarami ng tulog. then she told me: "bumili ako ng kilbasa" (wowoweew!) this is one of the bestest foods on my list and i can only buy it in the states. so everytime i come here, or anyone else in the family comes here, i always ask them to bring home at least 5 of this yummy sausage-like thingy.

the problem is this: "paki luto nalang. lahat, yung 3. para kumain yung mga bata and magbabaon si jonathan" (her hubby and my cousin) O MY GULAY! PANICK ATTACK! dessa girl is in panick level 10!!!!!

thank you, Lord and my boo was on line. it was noel who intoduced this dish to moi. i felt so stupid asking my boo how to FRY that thing.... i even asked my sister to pray for me coz its a lot of food to put to waste..

noooowww, i am alone and done cooking (thanks so much to my boo... i miss you!). i took a picture of the first batch i cooked but cant upload the thing yet. and i had brunch at 10am. it tasted ok... wahaaaa! so nervous. what will they say? yung mga bata madali i-please. kasi before i cooked eggs and hotdogs and they were like: "tita dessa, that was good... thanks so much!"

nway, for those of you who can cook, this may sound stupid but i was nervous in doing the following recipe

-slice kilbasa into quater of an inch thick
-cook with water until h2o's all gone
-wait until garlic is brown and set aside
-fry onions then add in the garlic and kilbasa

it sounds so damn easy, right? WELL NOT FOR ME! NEWS FULASH! I DO NOT COOK! i do not slice onions, or skin garlic (whatever you call that) or slice oversized sausages!

sus, napaka pathetic ko... nway, it's 12:30 PM and i better take a shower kasi may uuwi na. and! hindi ako natalsikan ng mantika! WAHUUUU!
