How to arrange a LUAU PARTY this summer:

1. make your invitation

2. decorate your venue with torches, flowers, pineapples, etc. ~dont forget to use bright colors!

3. have leis, grass skirts, flowers, ready for your guests to wear! (in case they are pasaway and come in non-hawaiian outfits)

4. hire professional hula dancers or fire eaters.. if you dont have the budget, simply ask your friends to dance for you and your guests. make sure they are not the "shy-types"

5. finally, have a good band play some music for your guests..

~this is Honey's 18th birthday party. thanks to her family for arranging this one. had fun!!! i'd like to arrange my own luau some day.

My 2007 Christmas parties and gathereings

Had several parties and reunions this year amidst our busy schedule. take a look:

1. Our official company Christmas party! We had a SUPERSTAR theme this year so i dressed up as tomb raider~ i didnt win this year because of queen amidala... hehe.. but it was fun.. my friends dressed up as characters fr hairspray, matrix, tears of the sun, star wars, etc. i like!

2. BNB Christmas party! my high school barkada was complete after 2 years! i like! we had it at dyan's house again this year

3. Admin department Christmas party! this was held in our Cavite warehouse with all the admin people. fun! was not the host this time.. a break i really welcomed!

4. Daddy-side Christmas party! we always have it in our house every Christmas eve...

5. Mommy-side Christmas party! this was just a simple merienda in glorieta 4 food choices. but then the great thing is, my grandparents were there from the province. nice!

6. Kidzone Christmas party! we had a party for the kids at church. too bad the giveaways were short.. we did not expect that much kids...

80's girl

We had an 80's christmas party last 22nd of December. waton had several posts about it already! it was really fun!

my friend, iris and i hosted the party. aside from the fact that we were running around for raffles, announcing winners, and intoducing the different presentations, we really had a great time! as for me, i won lots of rustan's g.c. that i used up in a couple of hours last 26 (first day of their year end sale was crazy)!! wuhu! bought them things na i wouldnt dream of buying with hard-earned cash like havianas, 500 peso jell cushion for your foot, etc. the rest i bought jeans na 999 nalang from 3K! and.. hmm.. what else.. black pumps! i gotta have shoes.. PLUS i still have 2k worth of g.c. to spend, thanks to boo's mom!!! woopy! more serious shopping.. i'm hoping to buy a nice black bag kahit tapos na yung sale nila.

my outfit won 80's icon of the night for MALE category.. harharhhar! and then my giant ghostbusters coloring book won 1st place for the 80's memorabilia contest. watson couldnt join coz he was organizing this one. hehehe! bet he had loads of entries. he's an 80's guru, you know. i also wanted to enter my 18-inch alf stuffed toy. if you press his belly button, he says all sorts of stuff.. i settled for the coloring book..

i cant wait for next year's party. what would make a nice theme next year? excited ba daw..
