have been finding comfort in God's word lately.. this has been my food.. my strength to do what i have to do..

my quite time has been real quality time with God.. and i thank Him for that..

this is a random list. these are little things that make me feel really good about life:

1. i get my favorite spot in a really nice, clean, cool shuttle to and from work!
2. someone gives me a goofy item (whatever it is..) without me asking
3. i read a bible verse and feel that God is talking directly to ME!
4. i see my crush looking at me! (na ayaw ko pa rin aminin hanggang ngayon na crush ko sha..)
5. the wind blows thru my window in our room ~ for me, this means God is telling me He loves me
6. fresh clean sheets! love falling asleep to that clean smell.. zzzz...
7. my little square pillows i had since i was a baby
8. free food!!!!!
9. breakfast buffet.. esp if shared with people who mean a lot to me
10. when it rains right after i get home.. hay salamat..

God is awesome!

CCBFH Kidz Encounter

the EGR (Encounter God Retreat) last 2004 helped me improve the WORSHIP aspect of my life.. it has a been a big help and i'm still wishing that people who mean a lot to me would attend it...

nways, the Lord allowed me to be part of the staff for the first Kidz Encounter (EGR for kids) of Christ's Church in BF Homes.

Lessons were exactly the same in content but were presented thru skits and demos to get thru the kids. loved it! got to play small parts in short skits..

Those who went thru the EGR will understand how important "THE CROSS" is. this part reminds you of what Jesus did for you.. this part makes you realize that the Lord has suffered so much to pay for our sins.. for the Kidz Encounter, we did a skit of "The Cross".. though i was one of the actors, i couldnt help but cry when the kids started crying.. i know the Lord touched their hearts for them to realize and comprehend the gift of salvation.

Our team worked with Pastor Dhenz and 5 of his G12 members..we are so blessed to have them conduct the enounter..

I pray that more children will get to expereince this.. To God be the glory!

its' been a while since i went to baguio.. i came back last weekend and guess what.. we had an accident in concepcion tarlac.. this is one of those places where people arent friendly.. they gang up on you and they dont help you! grrrrr.. bad experience..

was asleep when i heard a loud bang and saw our side mirror on the road.. thank God i had my seatbelt on even if i was sitting at the back.

our driver hit a motorcycle coming from the other side of the highway. turns out the guy only had a student permit and didnt really know how to drive his scooter (on a national highway). we were late for 3 hours.. had to wait for the police report and bring the dude to the hospital. sheesh..

i'll never forget this kagawad who was in shorts, a yellow shirt, and tsinelas. he took our keys and told us kagawad daw sha. my boss was super tapang: "wala akong paki alam kung kagawad kayo. akina yung susi namin. kelangan ko ng aircon!" go ma'am sue!

the Lord is so good.. He gave me a perfect family and awesome friends... my birthday was supposed to be an "emo" one.. but the Lord did not allow it. haha!

i love my family.. and i love my girls.. no single girl should live without them..

our Vietnam branch sent us some of their delicasies.. i wasnt brave to try them.. just some...

this is hard as dried caramel.. they warned me not to try it since i had my braces on..

this is 14200 dong! (spell check) have no idea how much is that.. siguro mga 100 pesos?

1. goofy frame from toy kingdom. ~ my sister got the donald duck frame and we placed it in our room =)








2. goofy the archer ~ this is from a store near my house that sells clothes, bags, toys, etc. goofy looks like he's from DLSU.. heehee.. super cute!!!

3. goofy lamp ~ this one is still in my to-buy list. =( ang mahal eh. but this lamp is sooooo cute!

nice family dinner

our worship service was at 5pm last Aug 17 so my family and i had dinner after church. this is rare so it's always nice to get together for some QT..

also, one of my favoritest restos opened a branch in Las Pinas and i'm hafihafi! Shakey's is the best ever!!! we decided to have dinner here..

and op kors, my peborit food at shakey's: their mojo potatoes and spaghetti!! yummmmmm

DARK KNIGHT

saw DARK KNIGHT yesterday. here are my comments

1. the story had a really good sense.. not the usual batman movie

2... but i have to watch it again to catch every single detail

3. no wonder why they say heath (spell check) couldn't take the role.. joker was a sad character

4. joker was excellently played by the late heath ledger.. sayang..

5. i dont kids can watch it..

Prep Camp

Visisted PREP CAMP 2 weeks ago. i used to be a pre school teacher and this was my first job. the school has a new building and it looks great! it was a surprise visit. sayang nga, was not able to document it. my phone got busted and my dad was waiting for me outside so i was in a rush.. i said hi to the teachers and visited one of sheka's class.. this is the only pic i took. after that, my camera stopped working.. =(

i miss teaching so much.. i know this will still be my calling after many years in the corp world.. i wish i could go back to my classroom with my old students (who are probably in 6th grade right now) and just stay in for a rainy day...

umbrella covers and more

was really rainy in hk when we arrived there the other weekend. nways, one of the things i noticed was that stores provided plastic bags for your umbrellas when you walk in so you dont get their place all muddy.

one store had this nice container out front. tek a luk!

you slip your umbrella in the hole on top and pull it out of the box towards you. and behold: your payong is now in a plastic and is no longer dripping all over the place.




i duno if you guys seen this stuff around but for me, this was a first. i wonder what they call it?



another weird thing i saw during my vacation was this gigantic walking stick? mantis? ewan.. it was almost a foot long... just there... on the wall... what the?? it really looked like a twig





another weird thing was this: strawberry butter.. super yummy... and when i asked our friend where they got it, she said someone brought it from GENERAL SANTOS city.. haller??? meron ba nito sa manila? bakit hindi ko alam?
