Why God Uses Problems..

God uses problems to DIRECT you.

Sometimes God must light a fire under you to get you moving. Problems often point us to a new direction and motivate us to change. Is God trying to get your attention? "Sometimes it takes a painful situation to make us change our ways."Proverbs 20:30

well... this new direction i'm being pointed at is somthing scary for me... but i know the Lord always has His reasons and His plans...

How to arrange a LUAU PARTY this summer:

1. make your invitation

2. decorate your venue with torches, flowers, pineapples, etc. ~dont forget to use bright colors!

3. have leis, grass skirts, flowers, ready for your guests to wear! (in case they are pasaway and come in non-hawaiian outfits)

4. hire professional hula dancers or fire eaters.. if you dont have the budget, simply ask your friends to dance for you and your guests. make sure they are not the "shy-types"

5. finally, have a good band play some music for your guests..

~this is Honey's 18th birthday party. thanks to her family for arranging this one. had fun!!! i'd like to arrange my own luau some day.

Sunburst Chicken - ayaw ko...

lots of people say SUNBURST CHICKEN in Cebu is the best.. i missed going to this resto last year so when i got a chance to go back to Cebu, i went and tried it... i have to say that i dont like it that much..

we ordered a plate full of wings and i only ate like half a piece. it tasted like the normal fried chicken you see in a cafeteria. (sorry, but some cafeterias serve even better chicken) i went to the their branch in Lahug Cebu. My friend, ashley, said that some branches dont follow the original recipe and dont use the right amount of ingredients. oh well, i guess i went to the wrong branch... the rest of our orders were good though.. crispy pata and sinigang..yum! thanks pala to REY who celebrated his birthday in Cebu with us.. woohoo!

next time i'm going to Cebu, i'm going back to GOLDEN COWRIE instead. this restaurant rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! unlimited rice pa!!!!!! diet-shmiet.
