When i was a kid, going to mcdo or jollibee (although i hate jollibee right now) was a big deal for me. I guess it's the same until now for any kid! I dunno why but these 2 have such an appeal for kids that they're everywhere!

Nways, i went thru some old stuff and look what i found! 80's mcdo giveaways!!! hehe.. la lang. they don't make it this nice no more coz they usually have toys free for happy meals. and it's no longer mcdo characters but mostly cartoon characters (pooh, hello kitty, snoopy, etc.) I found coasters of grimace and ronald, this purple grimace box thingy, a mayor maccheese mug, sundae eraser, pencil case, chuvaness. It's funny how they look weird.. ang pangit pa ng mga drawings!
Until now, i still love mcdonalds. when i'm far from home and i see one, parang feeling ko mabubuhay nako. kung may mcdo sa province or out of the Phils, ok na ako! YEAH! Hmm.. so what other stuff were you able to keep?

hmm.... I think we mostly went for Jollibee when I was a kid. may perception kasi na McDo was only for rich kids :)
When McDonald's first opened in Baguio in the early 90s, sikat ka kapag nakita ka roon! Tapos proud ka pa kapag may take-out kang dala! At sikat ka kapag service crew ka doon.
Ey, collector's item na yan. Nagco-collect yata si Willy ng Mcdo items (crew chief sya dati sa Greenbelt), malamang maiinggit sya pag nakita nya ang mga ito. :-)
cherry: i went to jollibee a lot too! ewan ko ba pero pumangit ang service kasi nila. today, i only go there for their pancakes with chocolate syrup and their super chocolatey hot choco! may jollibee ancient items din ako like their bowls and mats (si popo!)
watson: ganun ba talga impression sa mcdo? funny naman.. ngayon kahit saan meron na. nways, i wana see willy's collection! i saw his resume b4 dats y i found out he was workin for mcdo. naging mascot pa yata sha if i'm not mistaken.. or baka patawa na niya yun?
lalaban ako sa mga mcdo collections na yan...during my grade school days & spent summer vacations in manila, my brothers always bring me to mcdo, kaya 1 track ang collections ko nyan...kaya lang lahat nasa davao scattered to my nieces and nephews..
heh ayos ah...although I have a question: What product did Grimace represent? I have no idea...di naman siguro ube ano?
princess em: talga? gusto ko pa nga maghanap kasi alam marami talga silang ok na collectibles eh! it was my mom who kept all my stuff (except for the erasers and pencils)

mcdo? ayaw! pro jollibee ako! pag sobrang lungkot ako palagi ako bumibili ng chicken joy tapos magiging ok nako. pero mejo lumiit yung mga chicken nila ngayon eh. pero ok lang kasi the best parin yung gravy nila. nung "super mega cute" na bata pa ako, palagi kami pumupunta ng daddy ko sa jollibee dito sa makati bago siya pumasok. kumpleto ko pa dati yung plates, mugs, spoon and fork tsaka yung place mat nila meron din ako nun! paniiiiiiiiis! pero nabasag ko na majority nun eh. gusto ko dun ako sa mga jollibee items ko palagi kakain dati kung hindi nakakadalawang rice lang ako.
hindi kaya tumaba ako ng grabe dati dahil sa jolibee? ayaw ko pumunta jan sa mcdo sa paseo center. puro feeling conyo ang mga tao dun with their "hahahaha" conyo style of laughing! nakakaasar!
tapos...ok napakahaba na ng comment ko...
hahahaha! may pahabol ako. nung isang beses lasing nako tapos pumunta ako jan sa may jollibee sa valero, syempre nabasa ako ng ulan at nakasando, shorts and slippers lang ako. anyway, pagpasok ko pinagtitinginan ako ng mga tao kasi mukha akong makikipag-away kasi nga lasing nako tapos nakalabas pa ang mga tattoo ko and yung minor pectorials ng chest ko dahil sa sando! hindi nila alam na hindi naman talaga ako maangas at gusto ko lang ng chickenjoy! nyahahahahahaha! maangas ba ichura ko ma'am dessa? good boy naman ako dba?
master chu! buti ka pa-nacomplete mo! remember yung plate nila na may dividers? yung iba for soup, tapos iba for rice, tapos iba for ulam? hahahaha! basta ako ngayon, mcdo forever na.. fries lang nila, ok na! yung fries ng jollibee parang maanta yung mantika!!!

hehehehe...ako rin maraming mc do collectibles...because my mother loves collecting happy meal stuffs...
the most fascinating thing my mom ever bought was the entire 101 dalmatian toys...regalo nya kay april nung 9th birthday nya...naka preserve sa kwarto ng lola ko...hehehehe
ate dessa! mcdo/jollibee baby ako nung bata. as in ang dami ko rin super collectibles. spoon and fork ko ba naman jollibee eh pati baunan ko, jollibee! tapos yung school bag ko mcdo na yellow. o diba? tapos meron pa ko nun mcdo salbabida na pwedeng gawing bag. hehe...tapos nung lumabas yung tarzan big mac meal ng mcdo, pinatulan ko rin yun. oo, itong katawan kong to, kayang lumamon ng big mac. haha! en den, nung lumabas yung LOTR tumblers ng jollibee, binili ko rin lahat! pati yung justice league nila! o diba, adik. hehe...kaya lang, wala ng nagsurvive na gamit ko nung kabataan ko. mga napamigay na. yung tumblers na lang ang nabubuhay ngayon. o diba, ang haba ng comment ko. ang daldal eh! hehe

regarding yung dugo sa chickenjoy, so sad but it's true. dati hindi naman ganun eh. cost cutting time siguro sila kaya hindi na nila pinapakuluan bago iprito yung manok. pero pag ako kasi nakakakita ng dugo, minumudmuran ko lang ng gravy tapos ok nako.
hahaha! actually, wala talaga kong talent dun. fine, meron, pero kapiraso lang. i still confuse the left side with the right pag may steps. haha! at pag umiikot, nahihilo ako. o yeh! pwede siguro kung tipong cultural dance pa. pero pag street dance, dapat 1 buwan na practice para makuha ko ng matino.:D
