F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
this is my favorite tv show ever! i love the way how all their characters and personalities click! i laugh loudest at ross (he's my favorite! i like the way he acts like a kid and i love the way he loves rachel! ) my second favoritest is rachel coz she's all kenkoi and stuff when trying to prove herself. i'm amazed at pheobe and monica! super oc-oc si monica! chandler's ok.. although sometimes he can be real gay. harhar! joey is just.... JOEY! (how you doin?) ---(he's noel's favorite)

Christmas gift part2
Here's my other gift. cool no? noel gave me a sepia painting too! philip (the artist)burned the sides of the canvas and placed it in a frame na barag-barag. super ganda. boo surprised me with that when i opened his trunk! thanks ulit boo.

Ey! look what i got for Christmas! (duh, mejo late na!) people find it weird but i am absolutely thrilled i got these for Christmas! super cool boxes! dunno why but the shiny shimery effect and super cool colors makes me happy when i look at them. my sister agrees with me!

encounter God retreat
It's been about 10 years since i went on a retreat until June 2004. I was forced to attend this EGR (encounter God retreat) because everyone in our church (Christ's Church International) was attending the said thing. i personally preferred not to go since i've been to lots of retreats and self-help or leadership seminars in the past and they simply have no major impact on me. i mean sure, i learn a lot and cry and stuff. but after that, i dont see any major change in me.
This event however was a great help. Before going on the retreat, i was in state where one can say "my spiritual life is at its lowest". i pray and read the Bible everyday but sometimes, it feels like my prayers are just bouncing off the cieling. even if it was that way for me, i still prayed i believe that even if i don't feel God's presence in my life, it doesn't mean He's not there.
EGR was good for me. it was there where i got to intimately worship God again and found the joy of being a Chirstian. although He constantly reminded me how much i neglected Him in the past, He also showed me that i was blessed with so much.
now, i would personally recommend anyone to give it a try. it's a good way of emptying all the bad in you and finding yourself vulnerable before God with nothing at all but your soul to surrender. i also find myself looking forward to our Sunday worship service instead of treating it as an obligation or tradition.

Monkey's fault!
so THIS is what my bald spot looks like!
when i was about 2 or 3, my parents went to baguio for a youth camp and decided to bring me with them. unfortunately, there was this monkey in camp and everyone thought this monster was harmless. so my ninong ces took me to see it (i think he thought i'd be amused). we got too close and WHAM! the monkey scratched my head! my mom told me i was rushed to the hospital and the doctors did a nasty job with the stitches.
so now, when people who fix my hair see this, i tell them the story. it was only now that i thought of taking a picture of it (acutally, my sister did) so i can actually SEE what it looks like. my sister's bf said it looks like the logo of mitsubishi. i'd say i agree. sad thing is, it still hurts when someone touches it. weird!

bnb latest
my high school barkada. aka bnb's (super secret yung meaning).. harhar! these girls have been my friends for over a decade now and we still act like we're 15 when we're together. although our meetings have narrowed down to once every quarter or even twice a year, things don't change. high school is still the best for me.
this pic was actually taken late 2004 over at dyan's place (left most girl in photo). i was so proud of how her life turned out to be and hope to have a family of my own too in the future. lahat kami inggit!
10 years ago, we were talking about who to bring to our prom (ew!) now, here's where we are:
dyan's a mom and still does modeling stuff and makes her jewelries. karen's a mom too and thinking bout getting another degree. ashley's working for an ad agency. jacky's a med student and tin's a headhunter(this i have to update coz i bumped into sher and said she's no longer into that). as for me, i'm into HR for an IT company. i wonder where we'd be in the next 10 years?
